Going Green? Consider Latex
Everyday I see more and more of our clients taking an interest in the "Green Process". At least once a week I am asked if we offer any natural products. Most people don't realize that Latex is 100% natural and is ideal for producing comfortable and long lasting mattresses.
Natural latex is the ideal mattress making material. Over the years, I have slept on a number of different mattresses from goose down to wool, memory foam to cotton, and all kinds of futons and box spring mattresses. I have come to the conclusion that by far the most comfortable and most restful sleep I ever experienced came from sleeping on a latex mattress. It feels like you are floating weightless on a warm, supple cloud. Some people do not realize or ever consider the fact that latex is a natural material which man will never be able to sucessfully reproduce synthetically. Latex's competence lies in the fact that it is compliant and pliable, but also highly resilient. Latex mattresses don't need to be flipped or turned and can last a lifetime.
100% Latex Mattresses Manufactured by Zero Gravity Beds are Hypo-Allergenic, Mildew and Dust Mite Resistent. Latex is the milky sap of the rubber tree. It is harvested primarily in South East Asia, where trees are tapped for latex by cutting grooves in the trees bark and collecting the drippings in small buckets. It is a renewable process and a tree can produce latex for up to 20 years.
Latex mattresses are naturally hypo-allergenic and it's anti microbial properties inhibit the growth of mildew, bacteria, and dust mites.
100% latex mattresses are 100% biodegradable. Comfort, support and durability levels of latex mattresses can be increased by adding Talalay and inflatable air chambers. You can find these in our Custom Air Support Collection here.
